Want to have a powerful life-changing conversation with questions to bring out deep meaningful answers? These five questions are the basis of the powerful life-changing conversations I was part of at a mastermind early in 2023. Asking these questions of yourself and your peers is a way that we can support one another in real time and show up for each other throughout the year. What would it look like for you if you brought these 5 questions into your life and business?
When I tell you about this marketing strategy exponentially grew my email list and therefore my business, I mean it! I can’t keep something this good a secret, so I’ve invited the absolute best source I know to dig into the system and strategy with us on the podcast.
Natasha Willis is the co-founder of School of Bots, where she and her team have generated over $30 million in sales for clients and taught over 14,000 marketers how to generate highly qualified leads and convert them faster with conversational marketing on Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM, WhatsApp, and SMS.
Okay, okay, before you shy away from the word “Bots”, you have to hear how we were able to add thousands of new subscribers who are now part of my brand ecosystem beyond just following me on social media and how there are still very organic elements to something automated.

Over a year ago, I made a decision that I wanted to move through life in a different way. I wanted to feel differently. My word of the year last year was the word vibrant. I didn't want to just look vibrant. I wanted to feel it. I wanted to embody it.I wanted it to be something that people noticed. And boy, did you guys notice.
In this episode, I’ll answer your biggest questions when it comes to health and habits. Things like what I eat in a day and the devices I use and how much all of this costs.

Well, that sucked! Have you ever uttered those words to yourself, reflecting on some perceived failure or flub in your life, feeling all sorts of defeated and rundown and ready to toss in your sweat-and-tear soaked towel? No one is immune to a metaphorical gut punch every now and then, but it’s how we move forward after the blow that makes all the difference.
Dr. Neeta Bhushan is a world-renowned emotional health advocate and expert in the areas of grit and resilience. Her mission is to help people rebuild after life-altering moments. This isn’t a dose of toxic positivity or emotional perfectionism – this is research-backed advice for getting up and getting on with life when you’ve been bowled over.
Just as I believe that every brand should have pillars and values that they stand on, so does this very show! And so I wanted to explore what you can expect from this show as we embark on 2023 and where your life will improve every time you tune in.
In this episode, I’ll share our 5 Goal Digger pillars, reveal a little bit about our upcoming episodes, point you in the direction of some past episodes to help you dive into our five key areas of focus, and some of the things I’m excited about and working on behind the scenes to help you improve your life and business this year.

Over the last year we’ve been planning, designing, and watching the process unfold as we build our dream home. Building a dream home is intimidating. Luckily we found a dream team and partner in this journey who has made the process absolutely incredible. Kirsten Erickson is the founder of Alma Homes, a Minneapolis-based design build firm that serves clients throughout the country, she’s also been my friend since high school.
I wanted to invite her on the podcast to share more about our home build experience and what it actually takes to bring a dream home vision to life, what it’s like to work with your partner, how to create an exceptional experience as a service provider and also how she’s built a hometown Minnesota service-based business that is expanding her reach to all ends of the world from the comfort of her own home.
For me, whenever I learn the science behind something, I automatically buy into it at a deeper level. It feels more solid and not so wishy-washy. One thing I’ve been super invested in over the last year is learning how to better manage and utilize my time. There are tons of hacks on the internet for productivity and time management, but I need to hear the science behind any method before I let it into my life.
Thankfully, my friend Marie Forleo shares the science of time in her program, Time Genius (and I’ve completed the program three-times over!) I pick up something new every time I dive into this program, and I wanted to share some super pertinent learnings around the topic of time and priorities with you. In this episode, we’re going to talk about 3 science-backed truths to help you prioritize the RIGHT things so you can accomplish your big goals and get back to your life.

Jen Cohen has seen the evidence of this concept in action. In order to really benefit from it though, you need to discover your own form of boldness, and Jen Cohen can help. She has made an impressive career as an authority in health and fitness, a motivational speaker, a chart-topping podcast host and more… And there’s one common theme throughout all of these career milestones: Choosing boldness and going after the life she wanted, not the life she was given.
In this conversation, Jen and I will explore what it means to be bold – because it’s not just taking risks – and how you can level up your failures and turn them into your greatest strengths. We talk about mediocrity and the big, bold move she made that got Keanu Reeves to call her back… You have to hear this story!

It’s crazy to think that I’ve been solely responsible for marketing since I started my business in 2010. I’ve never had a marketing person on my team, never hired a contractor, and it’s always been me with the strategy. But that all changed in 2022 when I logged into LinkedIn for the first time in forever and saw a message from a fractional CMO.
What’s a CMO? What does fractional CMO mean? What can a CMO do for my business that I can’t do myself as someone who has built a career as a marketing expert? This episode covers it all, plus, what we’re working on in our marketing strategy right now.
Some of the greatest ideas come when you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. When Bobbie Racette was laid off along with so many other people working in the oil and gas industry in Alberta, Canada, she decided to pivot into the freelance arena as a virtual assistant… Except she quickly learned that virtual assistant agencies left a lot to be desired. So Bobbie decided to do something about it.
You know I love outsourcing, so I’m eager to chat with Bobbie about the virtual assistant space, the challenges she faced when launching her company, why a VA can be totally game changing for a business, and how you can get started as a VA if you’ve always wanted to explore the possibilities of a freelance career. Let’s get started with Bobbie Racette.
It’s wild to be entering a new year, isn’t it? I love the feelings of new beginnings, a clean slate, that fresh start… But this year? It feels different. Not in the “this will be my best year yet” sort of way, but more like “I wonder what this year will hold for me.”
I haven’t been shy in sharing that I’m in this season where I don’t exactly know what’s next and so my approach for this coming year is mirroring that feeling and I’m doing things a bit differently. Am I nervous? A little. Am I scared? Not really. Do I feel unsettled? Yes. So here’s what I’m hoping for in the new year (and it just might surprise you!)
For many creatives and artists, turning a hobby into their livelihood is the ultimate dream. Whether you’re a painter, illustrator, musician, poet, writer, or some other beautifully creative soul, what would it mean to make your passion your career? What if your work could go on to inspire, motivate, and educate others? Now that is something spectacular, and it’s something that Danielle Coke has experienced first-hand.
I’m so excited to chat with Danielle all about the major turning point in her career that thrust her work in front of an even bigger audience, opening up new opportunities for someone who had always stayed true to her creative style and passion. Danielle shares what hurdles and wins came when she turned her art into her business, why she decided to close down her shop, and what’s next in her entrepreneurial journey.
Email list building has been and is my #1 focus in my business – all roads lead to my list. It’s the biggest way I connect, serve, and drive results in my biz and so I’m always trying to optimize how we can continue to grow our email list (and serve our subscribers well!) So if you’re curious what’s working right now, what new thing we’re trying that got us 9,000 new subscribers in a little over two months, and what tried-and-true strategies aren’t going away, this episode is for you!
There's a specific unique kind of magic that happens when Marie Forleo enters the conversation. And guys, she is stepping into the chat in a big way today. In fact, she invited me to come onto her show, The Marie Forleo Podcast, where she and I unfold a candid, vulnerable, unapologetic dialogue that I knew I needed to bring you into.
In this conversation that previously aired on her podcast, I'm divulging aspects about living with a level of internet fame, a perspective that Marie absolutely understands, and what I've learned from my experiences that I think can help you as you journey through building a vulnerability into the work and career you build, too.

I’ve gotten a few things right – but I’ve also gotten some wrong. For years and years, I sold entrepreneurship as the right path for everyone, because for me, it unlocked a life better than I ever dreamed. But the more that I know about entrepreneurship, the more I recognize that for some being an employee IS the dream! So let’s talk about the pros and cons of both and how to distinguish if you’re better off as an entrepreneur or an employee.
In this episode, I’m sharing the perks of being both an employee and an entrepreneur, seven signs you’re ready to become an entrepreneur, how to face your fears around starting a business and the one exercise that I did before I left behind the 9-5 life forever.

She had $500 to her name and was about to move back in with her parents. Shanda Sumpter knows what it looks and feels like to be at a breaking point, faced with two options – give up and retreat, or find a new path onward and upward.
Shanda Sumpter is on a mission to show other entrepreneurs that they can have an incredible personal life, handle pressure better, AND build a meaningful and wildly profitable business at the same time. And that’s exactly what we’re covering in this episode. Shanda and I talk about starting and growing a business from absolutely nothing, how there’s no secret to creating a profitable business (just a step-by-step system), and even some interesting parts of her personal life, like how she managed to find and marry her husband in 90 days flat.

In the last year I adopted a practice that changed my life – and my view of journaling. I have a million different journals and notebooks and I’d start them with hope and then a few days in I’d totally fail. I struggled with consistency, I struggled with staring at the blank page, I struggled with knowing what the whole point of it was.
In this episode, I’ll tell you the origin story of how I was inspired to give journaling another try, how I created a practice I could stick to, how I changed my life in just 5 minutes a day and what I did to make sure my practice stuck after numerous attempts and failures. You know you can’t talk business without talking about money – profits, losses, taxes, paying your staff, investing in resources to keep things growing, the cost of doing business… It’s a lot to wrap your brain around, especially if you started your business to do what you love every day, while also *hopefully* making money while you do it.
Katie Gatti Tassin is here to dig into a full range of money topics especially relevant to side hustlers and full-time entrepreneurs. Making money as a contractor? We’re digging in. Taxes? We’ll talk about ‘em. Budgeting with a variable income? Yup, we’ve got that covered, too.

This has been one of the most requested topics ever. I did a podcast episode a little while back all about my own health journey, where I referenced that I have gotten very much into biohacking and am very curious about it because it's become a part of our lives. And I got so many DMs and requests from you guys to record this episode, so I am super excited to dive into the topic of biohacking.
Biohacking is also known as human augmentation, which sounds kind of creepy or like human enhancement. It's kind of this do-it-yourself biology aimed at improving your performance, your health, and your well-being through strategic interventions. For many biohackers, biohacking in general consists of just making small incremental diet or lifestyle changes to make small improvements in your health and well-being, and that has been a huge piece on my own health.
And so today is all about biohacking, coming from someone who knew nothing about this a year ago, who is not a doctor who will probably get things wrong, but who has experienced the benefits of biohacking in big ways over the last year. I'm going to walk through 14 things that I've done or tried in the last year and I'll share about if I've enjoyed them, if I'm still doing them or if it wasn't for me. Alright, let's dive on in.

Usually once a month I sit down with my podcast producer, Kylie, and she grills me on a topic. But Miss Kylie is busy snuggling her sweet little baby, so I asked Brooklyn to come on. Brooklyn is an incredible member of my team who has been with me for four whole years, she is the keeper and the writer of all the words inside of the brand.
Today's topic is actually one I'm very excited about because I don't know if you're like me, but around this time, each year as we inch closer to the new year, I feel this simultaneous pull and tug of, who do I want to be coming the next year? And what do I wanna accomplish? And what do I need to wrap up in order to make this year great? And who am I going to turn into?
And it's this beautiful, beautiful pressure that we sometimes put on ourselves or the world puts on us, or the changing calendars bring to us of wanting to move in a new direction. However, today's topic is how to leverage where you're at to get to where you wanna go instead of abandoning all the things that have gotten you here.

Having a ‘dream’ or vision for your life can look great on paper, but in practice, more often than not, can start to feel overwhelming. How is someone supposed to actually juggle a career alongside, well, anything else? Time for adventure, family, community, rest, creativity? All signs start pointing to burnout. And I’m passionate about showing you that the ‘having it all’ burnout only happens when we let other people define it for us. That’s why I wanted to sit down with my friend and truly brilliant leader, Lewis Howes, on his podcast School of Greatness!
This conversation felt so perfectly timed. If you’re not already a student of the School of Greatness, then make sure you subscribe and listen in — my takeaways are always profoundly simple and super applicable.
As I listened to this episode on his show, I found myself wanting to make sure YOU heard these words. We dive into why it’s SO important to invest in yourself, and what it really looks like to overcome the doubt and fear that holds us back from doing that wholeheartedly. The themes and messages here are truly meant for you, Goal Diggers, so I am grateful that Lewis let me share this conversation here with you, too!

I can't believe I'm recording an episode talking about an infomercial, but here we are. I actually had an entirely different episode planned for today, I was going to record an episode all about boundaries, but I actually pivoted because I had a really interesting encounter this morning.
I went to get my nails done, and while I was sitting there with dead headphones and nothing to do but watch the tv, an infomercial for Nutri Sealers caught my eye. I had the pleasure of watching this infomercial for about 45 minutes, and I actually learned a lot from it. I was so intrigued and I kind of asked myself like, what are they getting right? Because I am not a Nutri Sealer customer yet, however, I want to talk about how the infomercial almost made me a customer.
So today's episode is going to be about the five things that I learned from watching an infomercial that we can all apply to our marketing strategy today. What do you think? Should we dive in? Let's go.

Bitcoin had a bad week — like a really bad one. And if you’re out of the know or don’t understand that world, you’re not alone, we don’t really get it either. In fact, the timing of this release feels a little uncanny as headlines are hitting on the topic (and we still don’t understand it all!) We recorded this episode with Brit a few months ago (to help prep for our producer’s maternity leave!) and so while the Bitcoin world is experiencing interruptions, the content inside of this show helps dissect what this world is and if it’s something you might want to explore.
Cryptocurrency. What’s your first thought when you hear that word? Maybe you’re already an investor and you know the potential in this growing space. Maybe you have a healthy curiosity but reasonable skepticism about it.
For a time, I definitely felt like the world of crypto and NFTs and Web3 was rife with gatekeepers wanting to keep women and non-binary people on the outside... But leave it to serial entrepreneur Brit Morin to bust down those gates and wave in a community of people to learn all about how to invest and benefit from an industry that will reach an estimated value of $10 trillion in the next five years.
You might know Brit Morin from her lifestyle and education company Brit + Co, but in this conversation, we’re talking about her endeavors in the Web3 and cryptocurrency arena. She will demystify the terms and concepts you need to know to get started, why it’s not too late to dive into the space, how people are making money with crypto, and some advice as you get started or grow your portfolio in the world of Web3.

Marketing is confusing and overwhelming because we listen to ALL of the things we should be doing and chances are, if you’re just starting out – or even if you’re established, you’re walking around with some guilt or shame in feeling like you KNOW what you need to do but you either don’t know HOW to do it or don’t have the bandwidth to do it all.
Let me take you back over a decade to one of my business courses in college where they taught us the four P's: product, price, place, and promotion. I literally remember learning about these “p’s” sitting next to Drew in a course and when I think about knowing how and where to market your business, it’s important we take these four p’s into account.
I’m going to let you establish your product and price – I have a few good episodes on pricing strategies, and we’re going to focus on place and promotion in today’s episode! Are you ready to dive on in as we talk about what to focus on first in your marketing?
