Let’s talk about business regrets. Meaning… the things that I maybe did at the start of my business that I now have more information around and can say proudly that while I wouldn’t necessarily change any decisions I made, I can lament that I didn’t always make the “right” ones early on.

If I can help anyone else in their first year or years of running a business avoid these things, then I want to be as open and honest as possible about them! Ya ready to live with no business regrets?

There’s an art to making sure that your creative well doesn’t run dry and that you come up with content that will truly capture your ideal clients’ attention. Waiting around for inspiration to strike isn’t efficient.

As a seven-figure launch strategist, Destinee Berman knows plenty about content creation. On her busiest weeks, she will spend up to 15 hours recording podcast episodes, creating five-day challenges, filming live video and more. But she doesn’t do it on sheer will alone. Destinee will walk through developing a content creation strategy that works for you and keeps the ideas flowing so you can keep creating.

It’s the end of the year and while most people are getting ready for January 1st and the calendar to turn, how are you spending this time before the year closes? For me, this time of year is about reflecting, assessing how I FEEL, and not just phoning in the remainder of the year but making it meaningful.

Something that I always do in my business at the end of the year is take inventory of everything -- from accounting to content to energy and time spent, I look at the year as a whole and assess what will come with us into the new year, and what gets left behind.

Coffee and entrepreneurship seem to go hand in hand. I bet you can’t scroll the Instagram accounts of your favorite creators and business owners without a photo of a latte or a caffeine-inspired meme popping up, right?

Sahra Nguyen is the founder and CEO of Nguyen Coffee Supply, the first specialty Vietnamese coffee company importing directly from the source. If you’re hearing this, I’m actually on maternity leave, snuggling up our new little love and learning how to be a parent to two kiddos. Before baby Kutcher number 2 arrived, I sat down with Brendon for a Q&A about that very topic -- parenting. In this conversation, which originally aired on GrowthDay, he asks me about my learning moments as a mom, and how I continue to learn and grow in this title that I’m so proud of. So let’s dig into this conversation, shall we? Time for some mom talk.

Quinn Louise is here and this is the story of how it all happened.

While the details are fresh in my mind, I wanted to capture the story of our newest addition’s birth on the podcast! These kinds of stories are never quite as we plan or expect them, but I think a lot of parents will get me on this: babies don’t really care about our plans! And I’m certainly not complaining a single bit. The Kutcher fam is more than complete, and I think I might be basking in the sheer, incalculable magic of that for a long time.

Knowing your numbers is something a lot of business owners avoid. What is it about numbers that’s so intimidating? Even as a total self-proclaimed analytics nerd who’s obsessed with strategy and tracking and all things metric-oriented… there IS something vulnerable about stripping away the vanity metrics or the social media facade to only look at the black and white numbers and what they have to say about the health of your business.

I’ll be walking you through the 6 must-know metrics for you as a business owner. Are you ready to dive on in and talk numbers with me?

Celebration can look like a hundred different things - it might be taking a moment to breathe and say a prayer of gratitude, it might be booking a dinner out at your favorite restaurant, it might mean going on a nice long scenic run in your area, it might be getting yourself a new item you’ve been eyeing, it might mean a day off or it might be simply sharing your win with a loved one.

It’s less about the “how” and more about the habit of doing it regularly, with wins both big and small. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to pause and celebrate, today I’m sharing 17 wins for business owners to honor in your own way, because these are the things that truly matter!

What do you want to be when you grow up? Do you remember being asked that question? It seems to be a favorite question to ask kids -- the responses are usually filled with the biggest, most magical dreams of the youngest minds. But what if your interests and dreams as a kid could tell you more about your true passions to pursue as an adult?

Jennifer Hochstadt is a former television producer turned family lifestyle photographer and now business owner and co-founder of a brand I absolutely love, a brand I’ve personally invested in -- Baby Barn. Each pivot, each ‘yes’ to a new opportunity and experience brought her closer to what she really wanted to do with her career, and much of the inspiration came from what she was interested in as a kid. I’m so excited for Jennifer to share her story, and to dig into the pivots and decisions that led her to launch her brand and business.

From getting copied to feeling judged, receiving nasty comments to watching competitors soar… there are a lot of ways things can feel like a personal attack in business, and it’s natural to feel defensive, protective, competitive, and emotional about your business as you grow it. But when those emotions threaten to hold you back, get in the way of your progress, steamroll your success, or sabotage your creativity, then we’ve got to find healthy ways to deal and cope with our emotions.

I want to talk about some triggers and situations in running a business that might cause us to tense up or get hurt feelings, and what to do about them in order to move forward, feel at peace, and not sweat the stuff that truly won’t matter in the long run.
