The whole “people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime” saying sounds cheesy, but really when you break it down, there’s truth to it! If every relationship in our life was the exact same, we wouldn’t grow or be challenged and stretched by those who enter our lives, heck, if we kept every friendship through every walk of life, we wouldn’t have the time or energy to go deep.
Your childhood best friends serve a different purpose than your life partner, and your siblings offer different perspectives and company to you than, say, your work friends or peers. In this episode, you’ll learn the 5 kinds of relationships I think everyone should prioritize in their life! Let’s get into it, friends.

We talk a lot about online courses on the Goal Digger Podcast. After all, online courses play a major role in my business and have changed my life completely. We’ve talked about mini-courses, signature courses, how to build, sell, and automate your course… But maybe the structure of the courses we talk about doesn’t quite fit the topic or idea you have. Maybe you need a different kind of online course for what you want to teach. Ever hear of a cohort?
Cohort-based courses combine live workshops, videos, articles, and projects to create impactful learning experiences. It’s about your students learning from each other and by doing. I am so excited to explore this different kind of online course. Wes Kao helped create the modern cohort-based education movement with Seth Godin. Now she’s taking the category she helped create to the next level with her new startup Maven, the world’s first digital platform for cohort-based courses.

I love efficiency but beyond efficiency, I love when I save time. Time is my currency, it’s that non-renewable resource that we can’t earn more of, so if there are ways to not only save my time but spend it in the right places, you better believe I am all in. That’s why I’m borderline obsessed with automation.
In this episode, you’ll learn 10 different ways you can lean on automation in your business to simplify your marketing efforts and make your life a whole lot easier along the way!

We shouldn’t have to reach burnout just to allow ourselves some margin for rest. We shouldn’t work ourselves to exhaustion before realizing there’s got to be a better way. So if you’ve been feeling some type of way lately, know that you’re NOT alone and that although it’s common to feel tired to the point of burnout, we do not have to accept it as the norm.
In this episode, I’ll share some of the most notable signs of burnout in entrepreneurs, and then what we can do to combat it and get back to feeling like our best, most vibrant selves both at work and in our personal lives, too. Let’s walk through tangible techniques for entrepreneurs to combat these signs of fatigue and burnout.

When I finally surrendered to the idea of writing a book, the learning started immediately. Drafts and edits and manuscripts and agents and publishers and editors… All of these new tasks for me and it led me to work with an entirely new team of people who are helping me learn the industry and make my first book a book you can’t wait to read.
Carrie Thornton has been in the world of publishing for 25 years. She’s helped books come to life and worked with authors you might recognize from Gabrielle Union to Jessica Simpson to Amy Poehler and more. Now, she’s working with me and truthfully, I am the luckiest. Carrie and I are chatting through the role of an editor, why her editing process is different, why she wanted to edit my book, and what you need to consider if you want to pitch a book yourself.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you swear to yourself that you’ll never do something and then a month, a year, or a decade later, you’re laughing at yourself? Hello, it’s me, your friend Jenna, and I’m here to call myself out for exactly that.
In this episode, Kylie is on the show to lead me through the things that I swore I would never do but now I am gladly doing. I hope this conversation shows the evolution of being human and why my preconceived notions about why these things on my “never” list might have been wrong in the first place.

In the online space, it’s easy to get pulled into the thought that we can only show up when we’re polished and perfect and presentable. For years, the highlight reel of Instagram had us believing that perfection is the only acceptable goal. Now? Finding new feeds to follow where realness, not the highlight reel, is the focus… That’s what I’m after. And that’s why I love following Radhi Devlukia Shetty.
Carving out her own identity, eliminating the negative self-talk, pursuing her individual passions, launching product-based business with her husband, showing up (even when she’s in her PJs), and how she always seems to know how to remind people what’s important and what matters – That’s what we’re talking about in this deep conversation.

So many entrepreneurs I meet and talk to on this podcast share a common trait -- They’re multi-passionate! As creatives, and just as humans, we have many interests and passions, and that often shows through in the businesses we build. That said, multi-passionate entrepreneurs can run into some unique challenges when it comes to growing, marketing, and scaling their businesses. That’s what we’re digging into for this Goal Digger Podcast coaching session.
Stephanie Cintron is a photographer and website designer in Savannah, Georgia. In this session, we’ll explore ways to seamlessly combine multiple offerings under one umbrella, the marketing strategies that support a business with more than one focus, plus, ways to quiet the noise and get clear about what you really want to pursue when shiny objects pop up all around you.

It’s 2022 -- new year, new goals, maybe a new business? So many entrepreneurs (including us) are planners, but there’s really just one thing you can plan on as an entrepreneur -- uncertainty. The challenges you might face as we dive into a whole new year of business are unpredictable. But even though we can’t predict what challenges this year may bring, we can prepare by learning from the challenges other entrepreneurs have faced before us.
Kylie compiled a list of some of the most common challenging business scenarios facing entrepreneurs, and we’re going to play a game of “What Would Jenna Do?”

The truth is, I’ve had this folder in my Gmail titled: “If I Write a Book” for the last five years. Becoming an author would naturally come up in conversations here and there, and while the idea was certainly flattering, it never truly inspired me into action. It was always one of those “Maybe someday” ideas where I wasn’t totally convinced that someday would actually arrive. But then, a massage and a mouse changed everything.
This is my big official announcement: I WROTE A BOOK. Hard to believe I’m saying those words after so many years of resisting the idea. This episode is the behind the scenes of my book writing journey, the moment that changed my thinking, and what you can expect from the first ever JK book.

If I can help anyone else in their first year or years of running a business avoid these things, then I want to be as open and honest as possible about them! Ya ready to live with no business regrets?
